Hortaibérica’s frisée lettuce is a variety with tender, crunchy leaves and well-cut frilly edges that add volume and colour to salads. Its flavour is mild and pleasant, making it ideal for fresh consumption, whether in simple salads or mixed leaf blends.

Grown both in greenhouses and in open field in the Estela, Póvoa de Varzim area, our frisée lettuce is closely monitored at every stage of development to ensure uniform plants with well-formed heads and an intense green colour. Harvesting is carried out at the ideal stage of maturity and the product is sent immediately to the packing centre, ensuring a fresh and consistent supply for the national and European markets.
