Pepper

Hortaibérica’s pepper is a semi-early variety with high and continuous production throughout the season. The fruits are fleshy, bright green and have excellent shelf presentation. The flesh is sweet, with medium thickness, making this pepper very versatile both for fresh consumption and for cooking.

Grown in greenhouses and in open field in the Estela, Póvoa de Varzim area, our peppers are closely monitored at every stage of development to ensure well-formed fruits with even walls and intense shine. Harvesting is carried out at the right moment to ensure sweet flavour and firm texture. After harvesting, the peppers go to the packing centre, where they are graded and packed according to the specifications of the national and European markets.
