Hortaibérica’s turnip is an early variety that allows staggered harvesting throughout the season. The turnips are round and very flat, with a white skin and light violet colouring, giving them an attractive appearance that is easily recognisable to consumers.

Grown in the Estela, Póvoa de Varzim area, our turnips are monitored from sowing through to harvest to ensure uniform, well-formed roots with good texture. Staggered harvesting makes it possible to adjust supply to clients’ needs while always maintaining product freshness and quality. After harvesting, the turnips are selected, graded and packed according to the requirements of the national and European markets.
